TabTrade.com - The Honest Breakdown
TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that coverage is solid.
The Software
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly on the roadmap. That will round things out when it lands.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your all-in cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That says what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Few brokers with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
The FSRA Question
Here is the detail that matters. The broker is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Scam brokers do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
